Woodfield is the only independent school in central Georgia with a special purpose mission to address the needs of children with a wide range of learning differences and developmental disorders (e.g. ADHD, specific learning disabilities, high functioning autism, etc.). Too often, children who struggle with learning differences are misplaced in their academic careers, whether in a public or private setting. Established in 1997 by concerned parents of children with unmet academic, social and emotional needs, the goal of the program is to provide an individual learning environment that fosters the total development of each student. Students experience success that creates motivation and increases self-esteem.
