I can see, smell, taste, feel and hear all the excitement of the Christmas season in the hallways of Woodfield! Beautiful lights and decorations abound, the aroma of cookies in the oven, the taste of hot chocolate on Fridays, the smiles and hugs from the students and of course the sounds of Christmas music softly playing in classrooms as students engage with their work . This time of year, Woodfield seems to be a magical place as students do their best to focus on their work more than the presents they will find under the tree on Christmas morning. Sometimes that can be a challenge with all of the Christmas fun and activities, but our students are steadily working and completing their academic tasks. I see beautiful writing assignments, Social Studies and Science projects all proudly displayed. I see students focusing on their math and reading skills and thrilled about the next chapter book they will enjoy together! So much learning going on in each and every classroom! We love our Woodfield students and staff, and at Christmas time especially, you can’t help but overflow with gratitude for the love we have in our school. After all, “Woodfield Runs on Love.” It truly is a very special place! We are especially thankful for the birth of Jesus on Christmas Day and celebrate this special time of year. We hope you and your family enjoy any other holiday you may celebrate as well! May your holiday season be filled with the love of family and friends, grateful hearts, and the warmth, joy, and peace in knowing how much we are abundantly blessed!

JOY TO THE WORLD!
