December is a magical time for so many people. It is the time of year when we believe in the idea that all is right in the world. It is time for rest and to spend time with family and friends. During this time we make new memories and perform our favorite traditions. 

At Woodfield, December is a time we get to celebrate with each other. It is time we get to learn new things about students, like their family traditions or what they want for Christmas. We plan special lessons to include all different kinds of customs. We plan special field trips to bring that magical feeling to our school. Woodfield is famous for our fun Christmas contest among the classes and teachers. It is such a pleasure to see the students be creative and happy. 

The definition of magical is “beautiful or delightful in such a way as to seem removed from everyday life.”  Actually, the magic at Woodfield comes from everyday activities where teachers and students learn from each other. The magic is our students learning to love one another and seeing that when we return from the Christmas break, all the students are delighted to see their classmates and teachers. That is the true magic of the season. The relationships that have been built at Woodfield Academy will bring happiness for a lifetime.
