Growth

October is finally here and the air is getting crisp; the holiday season is upon us!  Leaves are falling and flowers are fading, but underneath the ground- roots are growing deeper and spreading farther. Like nature, our students grow in similar ways. The first two months of the school year have flown by and brought with it steadiness, rules and routines, new friends, and lots of learning. As we have settled into class, the opportunity to grow comes each day. I’m pleased to see students working individually and together to achieve this goal. The adults in this building fully support each student as they learn strengths and weaknesses of individuals. The support and encouragement that comes from within these walls is astonishing. All of this support, hard work, and encouragement leads students and staff loving what they do each day within the walls of Woodfield. I encourage you, parents, to ask your students daily what they have accomplished each day. This can range from social, behavioral, or academic growth. What a joy to be a part of your children’s daily growth! Thank you for entrusting your childrento us!
