I enjoy each season in the classroom, but fall is definitely my favorite time of year. Now that it is September and we are approaching fall, I am embracing the changes unfolding outside. I feel the morning crisp air on my drive to school while sipping my pumpkin flavored coffee. I savor the smell of the crisp air. I look forward to the sounds of the leaves crunching. For me, fall represents gathering, community, and creating a positive and warm environment.
This time of year in the classroom,I encourage students to slow down, be present, look inward, and embrace change. Change can be difficult, but you can’t grow without it.
As we enter a new chapter and new school year I challenge students to embrace the change and dive into the growth that this school year has to offer. What does fall mean to you? I challenge you to reflect and grow.
